Ghana’s Black Maidens dominated Teshie Constant Ladies in their friendly match on Thursday, cruising to a 10-1 victory at the end of what turned out to be a one-sided contest.
The friendly match staged at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence saw the Black Maidens controlling affairs from start to finish.
The friendly match is part of the national team’s preparations ahead of the upcoming qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup against Togo.
The exercise on Thursday provided head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa and the technical staff with an opportunity to test combinations, build match fitness, and evaluate the squad’s readiness for the crucial qualifiers.
The huge win is expected to boost morale within the camp as Ghana aims to secure another appearance on the world stage.
Meanwhile, a source has disclosed that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is working on more friendly matches in the coming days as the team continues its build-up toward the qualifiers.
