Asante Kotoko has held a vigil for their staunch fan, Francis Yaw Frimpong also known as 'Nana Pooley'.
Nana Pooley was tragically stabbed to death by unknown assailants during Kotoko's Matchday 19 game against Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Kronmansah Park in Nsoatre last week Sunday.
The murder of Nana Pooley has also led to the arrest of six people including the owner of Nsoatreman FC, Ignatius Baffour Awuah.
However, the vigil which was held at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday saw members of the Interim Management Committee [IMC], Nana Apinkra Akwesi Awuah, Kwesi Appiah and the head coach of the club, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum all in attendance.
The playing body and the supporters were also present for the vigil. However, some pained fans who could not hide their tears were heard chanting 'Justice Pooley'.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko has withdrawn from all football activities until justice is served.
