Spanish La Liga giants, FC Barcelona, have extended a trial opportunity to Ghana U20 attacking midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah, with the possibility of signing him during this summer transfer window.
The talented Dreams FC star is expected to travel to Spain this month to join FC Barcelona's youth setup, La Masia, where he'll undergo a trial period. If he impresses the coaches, the 18-year-old will secure a place in the renowned academy, which has produced football legends such as Lionel Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Dani Olmo, and Lamine Yamal.
Aziz Issah garnered attention from clubs across Europe and Africa after his outstanding performances in the CAF Confederation Cup and the Ghana Premier League last season.
He played a crucial role in Dreams FC's inaugural CAF Confederation Cup campaign, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 10 appearances, making him the joint top-scorer of the tournament.
In the Ghanaian Premier League, he was equally impressive, contributing seven goals and eight assists in 24 matches. His remarkable form continued in the Ghanaian FA Cup, where he scored four goals in five games.
His exceptional performances earned him a call-up to Ghana's U20 national team, the Black Satellites, where he played a key role in their gold medal victory at the 2023 African Games.
Aziz Issah has previously represented Ghana at the U17 and U20 levels and is now on the brink of earning his first call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars.
