According to Mr. Henry Asante Twum, Director of Communication for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), SOCALOCA will provide accessible data, enhance the game, and attract top talent and brands.

The platform will give players the opportunity to be scouted by clubs from different parts of the world,” Mr. Asante Twum added.

For his part, Josiah Okoe Quaye, Ghana Premier League commentator said Ghana’s football success over the past two decades has made it a revered nation in African and global football. The country boasts immense talent, passion, and a thriving football ecosystem. However, the lack of data and technology has hindered Ghana’s ability to dominate at the continental level.

He added that SOCALOCA’s entry into the scene marks a paradigm shift in Ghanaian football. He stressed that the platform aims to bridge the gap between Ghanaian football and the global football community, leveraging data, technology, and innovation.
