The Ghana Football Association (GFA) earlier on Monday released the fixtures for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18 at the respective match venues across the country.
The 18 participating clubs are expected to play a total of 306 matches in the first and second rounds combined.
In a communique from the Ghana FA, it has indicated that the first round of the season is expected to end on December 29, 2023.
After the first round, the league will go on a one-month break to make way for the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament which will be staged in Cote D’Ivoire from January 13 – February 11, 2024.
The second round of the season will kick off from the weekend of February 23-26, 2024, at the respective match venues.
The league season is expected to end on June 16, when the remaining games of Week 34 will be played.
