Although Arsenal earned a point from the clash against Southampton over the weekend, Ghana star Thomas Partey did not have the best of games.
It is, therefore, not surprising that the Black Stars talisman is not amongst the Top 10 Best Ghanaian Players Abroad from the weekend.
The fact is, none of the Ghanaian Players Abroad that featured in the English Premier League over the weekend did enough to earn a place in the Top 10.
This week’s edition of the Top 10 put together by SofaScore featured youngster Leeroy Owusu as Top Rated player.
The defender put up a good display for Willem II in the Dutch Erste Liga and scored to seal a 4-0 win for his team in the game against Top Oss.
The next player on the list is Patric Pfeiffer. The versatile defender was solid at the back for Darmstadt in the team’s 2-1 victory over Karlsruher SC in the German Bundesliga 2.
Other players making the Top 10 include veteran defender Dennis Odoi, centre-back Alexander Djiku, speedster Issah Abass, as well as in-form midfielder Majeed Ashimeru.
Although he is not captured in the Top 10, Osman Bukari is the best Ghanaian Player Abroad from the weekend.
The winger starred with a fantastic hat-trick for Red Star Belgrade in the team’s impressive 4-1 comeback win over Backa Topola in the Serbian Superliga.
He is now a league champion with his club in his maiden season.
