Ghana international Ishmael Yartey has joined Norwegian club Alta IF, the club has announced.
Details of the 33-year-old’s move to the club has not been disclosed to the public.
The former Ghana U17 international, who was also received a senior Ghana call-up in May 2012 from then-head coach James Kwasi Appiah, completed his medical tests and signed a deal with the Alta Idrettspark outfit.
“Ishmael Yartey is now ready for the club,” says Sporting Coordinator for Alta IF Fotball Andre Dorgset Donjar.
The former SL Benfica attacker became a free agent after leaving Finnish club KPV at the end of the 2022 season.
