Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus was in action on Sunday afternoon when Ajax thrashed SC Cambuur 5-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The Black Stars poster boy started for his team in today’s away match and played his part to ensure the side returned to Amsterdam with the three crucial points.
Ajax dominated the contest this afternoon from start to finish and had an early lead when captain Dusan Tadic scored in the 16th minute.
Some two minutes later, Ghana star Mohammed Kudus set up Steven Berghuis to also get on the scoresheet to double the lead for the visitors.
With a comfortable 2-0 lead from the first half, it was up to SC Cambuur to attempt to come back in the second half.
Unfortunately, the team did not have enough quality to cause problems for Ajax.
An additional goal from Steven Berghuis in the 64th minute plus a brace from substitute Brian Brobbey sealed a massive 5-0 win for Ajax at the end of the 90 minutes.
With his assist today, Mohammed Kudus now has seven goals and one assist after making 19 appearances for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie this season.
