Ghana international, Inaki Williams has recovered from his injury in time to feature for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga today.
The forward started for his team last Monday for the match against Cadiz. He put up a fantastic first-half performance and scored to propel his team to hammer the opponent 4-0 at full-time.
Unfortunately, Inaki Williams suffered a sprained ankle injury and had to be substituted in the second half.
Despite fears that he would miss the next Athletic Bilbao match, the Ghana international has recovered from the injury and has been handed a starting role to feature for his team against Espanyol this afternoon.
His appearance today means Inaki Williams has featured in every single game in La Liga since April 2016.
Today’s appearance against Espanyol is the 237th consecutive La Liga match for the new Black Stars player.
