
Belgian side, KAS Eupen have completed the signing of Ghana midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso on a season-long loan deal.
Wakaso joined the club from from Chinese Duper League side, Shenzen FC.
The club's official statement reads “The 70-time Ghanaian international Mubarak Wakaso will play for KAS Eupen until the end of this season. The 32-years-old midfielder is on loan from Chinese first division club FC Shenzhen”.
The dynamic midfielder has spent the last three years in China, where he played for the defunct Jiangsu Suning, helping them win the 2020 Chinese Super League. The club folded in 2021.
KAS Eupen already have two Ghanaian footballers namely Isaac Nuhu and Manaf Nurudeen in their folds.
Wakaso, who was a member of the Black Stars team at the Nations Cup in Cameroon early this year, has been out of action since February due to injury.

Mubarak Wakaso spent most of his career in Spain where he played for Villareal, Elche, Las Palmas, Espanyol and Deportivo Alaves.
