Striker Jordan Ayew has expressed his excitement after extending his stay with Crystal Palace ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Ghana striker agreed to a one-year contract extension recently.
“Crystal Palace is my home and I’m very happy at the football club, they have a lot of faith in me,” Ayew told Accra-based Radio Gold.
“You know I extended my contract and I’m very happy I will continue the adventure there and hopefully this season will be a better one.”
Ayew’s previous contract was set to expire at the end of this month, and there were reports of clubs interested in acquiring his services, but he chose to stay with Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old joined on loan from Swansea in 2018 and signed a three-year contract the following year.
Ayew had three goals and three assists in 31 Premier League games last season.
