MTN FA Cup Round 64: Asante Kotoko handed tough draw against King Faisal

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have been handed a tough tie in the Round 64 of the MTN FA Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors club last season attempted to lift the trophy but unfortunately failed to even make it past the quarter-final stage.

With the 2021/2022 football season ongoing, Asante Kotoko have set sight on fighting to win the competition.

At the Round 64 stage, the club has been drawn to face city rivals, King Faisal.

The Reds have already lost to the opponent in the Ghana Premier League this season and will have a lot of work to do if the team is to overcome the side to stay in the MTN FA Cup.

Meanwhile, defending champions Hearts of Oak have been paired against Accra Lions at this stage of the competition.
