Veteran Ghanaian coach, Kobina Amissah has left newly promoted Ghana Premier League outfit, Goldstars FC after securing promotion with the club to the topflight.
The former Elmina Sharks gaffer steered the club to book a qualification from Division One League.
Amissah has however vacated his position after failing to renew his contract with the Bibiani-based club.
Speaking to Kyfilla.com, the former Sekondi Hasaacas coach stated that he has relinquished his position at Goldstars FC to take a sabbatical leave after three seasons of active service.
“It is not like am leaving because there is pressure but I have been active for the past three seasons and I need to take enough rest and refresh my mind.
"Though am leaving, if they need my support, I will wholeheartedly do that but not as part of the management team. I will definitely bounce back very soon”, he said.
Goldstars finished first in the just ended Zone Two table of the just ended Division One League ahead of clubs like Skyy FC, FC Samartex, Sekondi Hasaacas, New Edubiase among other clubs.
