WAFA SC are on a four-game unbeaten run after posting a 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
In the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign, the Academy side have improved significantly especially on their away form.
Today at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena, the Academy Boys looked for a win on the back of two victories in their last three matches and a draw.
Having hosted Ebusua Dwarfs in a game serving as a matchday 27 encounter of the Ghana Premier League, WAFA SC dominated play in the first half but could not score.
With a strong start to the second half, the hosts finally had the breakthrough in the 56th minute when Enoch Asubonteng equalized with a fine effort.
In the exciting contest that ensued from there on, Richard Addai scored to restore parity for Ebusua Dwarfs in the 81st minute.
Unfortunately, a late own goal conceded by the Crabs meant that WAFA SC bagged the maximum points at the end of the 90 minutes after the 2-1 win.
