"You will all die in your sleep" — Sofo Kyir Abosom fires back at pastors over ‘there is no God’ comments

Ghanaian preacher and politician Sofo Kyir Abosom has strongly responded to pastors who have criticised him following his controversial comments questioning the existence of God.

In a heated response, Kyir Abosom accused some pastors of using the media to attack him.

He described their criticisms as “rubbish.”

He further issued a disturbing warning, saying: “Your end will come. The Lord I worship will kill you while sleeping.”

Kyir Abosom also claimed that he sometimes laughs when he hears negative things some pastors say about him, insisting that he has observed their conduct and believes they have no authority to dictate how Christians should worship.

“When I see and hear what you keep saying, I sometimes laugh. Before you will all die soon, I have seen you all,” he said.

He went on to question the calling of some religious leaders, alleging that certain pastors have appointed themselves rather than being called by God.

“God hasn't called anyone. You have called yourself and refused to allow Christians to rest,” he stated.
