Ghanaian international, Kwadwo Duah equalized for FC St. Gallen on Thursday evening to help the team defeat Young Boys 4-1 to cruise to the quarter-finals of this season’s Swiss Cup.

The forward born in London to Ghanaian parents have been in outstanding form since the 2020/2021 season commenced and is currently a key asset for the side.

Today, he earned a starting role alongside his Ghanaian compatriot and goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi when FC St. Gallen played host to giants Young Boys at the kybunpark for a clash in the Round 16 of the domestic cup competition.

Putting in a top performance, Kwadwo Duah found the back of the net for his team in the 50th minute to increase their advantage.

At the time, an earlier strike from Chukwubuike Adamu had shot the hosts into a deserved lead from the first half.

Although Christian Fassnacht would score to halve the deficit for Young Boys, goals from Victor Ruiz and Jeremy Guillemenot later powered FC St. Gallen to a delightful 4-1 win at the end of the contest.

As a result, Kwadwo Duah and his teammates celebrate into the night knowing that they have reached the quarter-finals of the Swiss Cup.
