Free-agent, Eric Donkor has completed a free transfer to Kumasi-based King Faisal FC in the ongoing transfer window.
The experienced left-back has been unattached after parting ways with AshantiGold at the end of his two-year contract in September last year.
After weeks of negotiations, Donkor has sealed a deal with the relegation-threatened side – one which will run until the end of the 2020/21 season this July.
It’s a return to Kumasi after almost three years for the 28-year-old who won many laurels with city rivals Asante Kotoko before leaving them in May 2018.
Eric Donkor joins the likes of Atta Kusi, Paul Aidoo and Seidu Salifu who have so far been brought on board for King Faisal’s survival charge in the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
King Faisal finished on the 16th on the league with 17 points.
