Asante Kotoko have congratulated goalkeeper Razak Abalora and Christopher Nettey on their call-ups to the Ghana national team.
The two players have received invites to the Black Stars to feature for the national team against Sudan in the upcoming qualifying matches to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Razak Abalora’s call-up was confirmed a week ago but Christopher Netter’s invitation came today following the unavailability of Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful.
In a post on the Twitter page of Asante Kotoko, the club have extended best wishes to the two players who are expected to return from the international break to play key roles for the team in the Ghana Premier League.
“C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to our gallant warriors Razak Abalora and Christopher Nettey. Go make us proud”, the post reads.
Due to the national team call-up, the goalkeeper and the defender will miss Asante Kotoko’s Matchday 1 fixture against Techiman Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on November 15.
