Ghanaian striker, Abass Mohamed has indicated that he is delighted with his return to Medeama SC for a second spell.
The striker is staging his second coming to the club after spending three seasons between 2014-2017.
He featured prominently for Medeama during the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2016 before moving on to play for Asante Kotoko for two seasons.
Speaking in an interview after re-signing for Medeama SC today, Abass Mohammed has noted that he is elated to be back and ready to help the club achieve its goals.
“It’s a great feeling and I’m very happy to be back. I look forward to working with a crop of talented players to ensure we achieve our set goals.
“I want to achieve all of the goals, win as many trophies as possible to position the club on the global map. This is home and I can’t wait to start repaying the confidence on the pitch”, he said as quoted on the website of Medeama SC.
In the past, Abass Mohammed also had a stint with Nigerian side Enyimba FC. He is expected to bring his experience to bear to help the Tarkwa-based club in the upcoming football season.
