ANOTHER MAN'S WOMAN

Dear Lord!
I was shocked beyond words.
Stunned and mystified: I was impressed.
Such lovely eyes: sparkling like diamonds.
A coy smile: enchanting like a spell.
A voice: lovelier than that of Adel.
Her stride: measured and memorable.
Her body is a tale of chocolate: so adorable.

Like an artifact I sat gazing...
for she was a vision of beauty.
Everything about her is amazing,
except the man who lurk beside her...
almost acting as her shadow.

I looked with envy as he hugged her,
my heart bleeding anguish when she kissed him.
What happened next was like a breath of fresh air
for over his shoulder, she winked at me.

Dear Lord! That was what my mind spoke.
In that moment, I felt we were yoked.
Seconds later, my heart broke...
when with affection, his back she sensually stroked -
and their lips locked again in a passionate kiss...
all I could do was stare as my mouth unconsciously hiss.
I yearn to be her man,
but she is another man's woman.
