THE DOOR OF NO RETURN
Indeed, life is full of uncertainties –
Sadness, happiness.
Some struggle
Others live in luxury
But in all, we are all humans.
Sometimes, some feel sad.
Sometimes, others are happy too.
Some ask God, why me?
Others also say, thank you Lord
Because they feel the Lord has been good to them.
While some suffer,
Others have it all
Some wish never to die
But in all, whether rich or poor,
We must all die
Either by accident, troubling sickness, or peacefully.
Death knows not the poor nor the rich.
While some live in luxury
And create property for their family,
Others wander and die in poverty.
Death is like a door
And when people enter,
It's very difficult to come out
No matter how well you lived.
How I wish my beloved parents
Will get the key to break out of that door
Of no return from death
And help me in this life.
I sometimes cry out their names
Thinking death will have mercy
And open the doors for them
To come out and lead me
To the path of riches
Hmmm! Death, why me?
The door of no return is real indeed.
But one day, I will surely meet them there
And explain all I went through
Without them by my side.
