The Identity Of Ghana

The identity of Ghana
Lies in our ability to promote unity,
For unity makes us an entity
Not disunity and lackadaisicality.

You say is favoritism but to me is racism
Which has superseded your ability to reason,
Resulting in tribalism and ethnocentrism.

We need to take responsibility
For accountability is needed for unity.
We need to cherish, not diminish,
The beliefs of others which are not dry leaves.

We should be zealous, not jealous,
About others' beliefs,
For these arduous customs are thorns in our flesh.
Let's protect, not neglect, the beliefs of others.

We need to tolerate, not accelerate,
Contradictions which are not benedictions
To our ambitions and obligations.

Don't be deceived, but receive this strategically
And rightfully process,
Which will turn our problems into progress.

Let's make this country better, not bitter,
For our constitution is not an institution
Where competitions are decisions,
But a prescription for action.
