Osman, My Brother ...

In Memory of My Brother, Osman, Who Left Us on Friday 23rd May, 2025 at 37 Military Hospital.

The sun rose dim on Friday's face,
As silence fell in that heavy place.
In 37's halls, your breath grew still
And time itself forgot to fill.

Osman, my brother, why so soon.
You left us in life's quiet noon.
The doctors tried; the prayers flew
But Allah had already called for you.
Your eyes once shone; now closed in rest.
A gentle heart stilled in your chest.
We watched, we wept,

We whispered low,
Afraid to face the letting go.
The bed you laid on, cold and bare,
Still holds the echo of a prayer.
Your name, once spoken with delight,
Now breaks our voices every night.
Oh! if love could heal, you'd still be here,
Laughing, breathing, drawing near.

But pain had wrapped you far too tight
And stole your soul into the bright.
You weren't just blood, you were my light,
My quiet strength, my star at night.

And though your body lies beneath
Your name still blooms in every breathe I breath.
So, rest well, dear Osman, in Allah's peace,
Where sorrow ends and trouble cease.

One day, in Jannah's endless skies,
We'll meet again – no more good byes.
Rest well, Osman
