Gospel singer Bakare Boluwatife Oluwatobi, popularly known as BBO, has finally broken his silence following the death of his late colleague and close friend, Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, widely known as Toluwanisings.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the Nigerian gospel industry was thrown into mourning following the passing of Toluwanisings in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14, according to a statement shared on his verified Instagram page.
Following the demise, while everyone, including celebrities from all walks of life, paid tributes to the late singer, BBO went completely quiet on all his social media pages. This sudden silence led fans and colleagues to express deep concern about his well-being and state of mind, considering the strong bond he shared with the deceased.
However, on Thursday, October 29, two days after a Night of Tributes was held in Toluwanisings' honour in Ibadan on Tuesday, October 27, BBO eventually broke his silence on his Instagram page.
He shared a heartwarming throwback photo of himself standing next to the late Toluwanisings. In his caption, the singer expressed his unwavering faith in God despite the painful loss, noting that while they may not comprehend the situation, they still acknowledge God as faithful.
He wrote:
"We may not understand, but we judge GOD faithful."
