Gospel singer Esther Igbekele has shared a message on the fragility of life and the need for reconciliation, drawing from the recent passing of her colleague, Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, widely known as Toluwanisings.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the Duchess of Gospel Music described his exit from the world as a great message to everyone.
Igbekele urged people to learn from the painful loss by settling any differences they have with others while they still have the opportunity. She encouraged self-reflection, asking individuals to retrace their steps and examine if they still understand the purpose of their calling and why they chose to serve in ministry.
She reminded her followers that life is a journey and no one knows when their time will come. She prayed for the grace to live right, love genuinely, forgive freely, and fulfill divine assignments.
The 'Shey nornal' crooner further prayed for the repose of the singer's soul.
She wrote:
"TOLUWANISINGS’ EXIT FROM THIS SINFUL WORLD IS A GREAT MESSAGE TO US ALL. HMMM!"
"Let us learn from this painful loss. Settle every difference you have with anyone while you still have the opportunity. Retrace your steps and ask yourself: Do I still understand the purpose of my calling? Do I still remember why I chose to sing Gospel music? Are we truly fulfilling the ministry God has committed into our hands?"
"Life is indeed a journey, and none of us knows when our time will come. May God help us to live right, love genuinely, forgive freely, and fulfill our divine assignments."
"KEEP RESTING, BAYONILE OLAYEMI TOLUWANISINGS."
"As your name implies, may you truly BAYONILE in the presence of your Maker. May the Lord comfort your family, friends, and everyone you have left behind."
"SLEEP WELL, GOD’S GENERAL. UNTIL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE."
