I Would Have Held You A Little Longer – Bidemi Olaoba Reminisces On Last Ministration With Toluwanisings

Popular gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba has paid a touching tribute to the late Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, known as Toluwanisings, reminiscing about their final moment together on stage.

Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a video of himself singing alongside Toluwanisings during his 'In His Presence' worship concert held in Ibadan, Oyo State, expressing his grief over the loss.

Olaoba stated that if he had known Toluwanisings' last ministration would be his final one before joining the saints, he would have held him a little longer, embraced him tighter, and given him the entire night to praise God.

He noted that although Toluwanisings' earthly journey has ended, his ministry lives on through the souls he won for the Kingdom and the lives he touched through his music.

He acknowledged the void left by his departure, noting that words can hardly express it, but comfort is found in the hope of eternity.

The 'Give Me Chance' crooner also described Toluwanisings as God's General who fought the good fight, finished his race, and kept the faith, adding that although his voice may have fallen silent on earth, the sound of his worship and his legacy will never be forgotten.

He wrote:
"If only I had known that your last ministration would be your final one before you joined the saints in glory, I would have held you a little longer, embraced you a little tighter, and given you the entire night to praise your God and pour out your heart before Him, just as you loved to do."

"ToluwaniSings, your earthly journey may have ended, but your ministry lives on. The souls you won for the Kingdom, the lives you touched through your music, and the seeds you faithfully sowed in God’s vineyard will continue to bear fruit and speak for generations to come."

"Your departure has left a void that words can hardly express. Yet, in the midst of our grief, we find comfort in the hope of eternity and the assurance that, for those who are in Christ, death is not the end."

"Rest on, God’s General. You fought the good fight, finished your race, and kept the faith. Your voice may have fallen silent on earth, but the sound of your worship and the legacy of your devotion to God will never be forgotten."

"Until we meet again at the feet of our Master, where we shall part no more."

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toluwanisings passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as confirmed by his family on his verified Instagram page.
