Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has expressed deep sorrow following the passing of his colleague, Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toluwanisings passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as confirmed by his family on his verified Instagram page.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Adegbodu shared a throwback video capturing the moment the late singer paid a condolence visit to his family after he lost his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu. In the clip, Toluwanisings was seen sympathising with the Adegbodus and praying fervently for their comfort and strength.

Reflecting on the painful irony of the situation, Adegbodu noted that Toluwanisings prayed for him, not knowing that he would join his twin brother just seven months later.

He lamented that the situation is sad, painful, and frustrating, quoting the Bible that there is only a step between life and death, and questioning who might be next.

He wrote:
"When we lost my twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, you came to sympathise with our family and me. You even prayed for me that day, not knowing that you would join him just seven months later. This is so sad, painful and frustrating. The bible says there is only a step between life and death. The mystery remains: who is next?"

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the death of gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu was disclosed by his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, on Sunday, March 1st, in a social media post.
