Popular Nigerian skitmaker and comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, has expressed frustration over the state of the nation and the attitude of citizens towards demanding accountability.
He made his thoughts known in a post shared on his social media page.
Sabinus lamented that a lot is going on in the country, yet people are keeping quiet.
He noted that when citizens demand good governance, they are told to mind their business, and even when they try to mind their business, they are still insulted.
He questioned when Nigerians will unite to demand what they are owed, highlighting the paradox of being criticized whether one speaks up or stays silent.
He wrote:
"A lot is going on in this country and we're just keeping quiet. You demand for good governance, they tell you to mind your business."
"You try to mind your business, they still insult you. When are we going to come as one and demand for what we're being owed?"
