"The Love You Left Inside My Heart Will Never Go Away" – Mr Ibu's Wife Celebrates His Posthumous Birthday

Stella Maris Okafor, the wife of late comic actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, is celebrating his 64th posthumous birthday.

She took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself and her children on her social media expressing how deeply she misses him.

She noted that every time she looks at the stars, she knows that is where he will be, shining as he always did and watching over her and the children. She acknowledged that the pain of his loss stays with her every day, but the love he left inside her heart will never fade.

She added that life goes on without him, but it will never be the same, and if she had the chance to do it all over again, she would choose him without hesitation.

She further noted that even though they can no longer spend time together,

She wrote:
"My husband, On your posthumous birthday. Every time I look at the stars, I know that's where you'll be. Shining like you always do. And watching over them and me. Although the pain I'm feeling is with me every day. The love you left inside my heart will never go away. Life goes on without you, but it will never be the same, and if I had my time once more, I'd do it all again. We may not be able to spend time together anymore, but I want you to know you are always on my mind. Lots of love and hugs from here on Earth. Happy Birthday."

Mr Ibu, a well-known comic actor underwent a leg amputation in November 2023, following battle with severe illness.

He eventually gave up the ghost on 2 March 2024, at the age of 62 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
