Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, and Oderhowo Carter Efe have earned nominations for Best International Streamer at the 2026 Streamer Awards.
The recognition places the two Nigerian stars on a global stage alongside some of the biggest names in the streaming world.
According to a post on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the shortlist of five nominees features Peller and Carter Efe alongside Indian streamer Ashswag, Polish creator Young Multi, and Cuban streamer Staryuuki.
Peller, who recently revealed that he was invited to TikTok's office in the United Kingdom, described the nomination as a major milestone and dedicated it to his fans.
Voting for the category is currently open on the official awards website and will close on October 31. The final winners will be decided by a combination of a 70 percent public vote and a 30 percent panellist score.
The Streamer Awards ceremony is scheduled for November 12, 2026, in Los Angeles and will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.
