Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor Stanley Chibunna, popularly known as Funny Bone, has shared a reflective message urging people to take responsibility for their actions rather than playing the victim.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, he prayed for the grace and discernment to remember the words and actions that provoked a response, rather than becoming consumed by the reaction received.
Funny Bone also prayed for self-awareness, urging people not to play the victim in situations caused by their own character flaws, utterances, and shortcomings.
He wrote:
"May God grant us the grace and discernment to remember what we said and did in anger that provoked a response, rather than becoming consumed by the response we received."
"May we be self-aware enough not to play the VICTIM in situations caused by our own character flaws, Utterances and shortcomings. Amen."
