Veteran Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya has expressed pride in her craft, describing theatre practitioners as creators of wisdom.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, she reflected on the journey of entertainers and the importance of guiding the craft that has brought good to many.
Adesanya noted that if practitioners were more cautious with their utterances and carried themselves as the professionals they claim to be, the industry would be better for it. She acknowledged the rudiments of theatre practice, whether formal or informal, academic or total theatre, and commended practitioners across the entertainment world.
The Yoruba actress recalled years of encouraging one another that their crafts would pave the way, regardless of the odds caused by the social media era. She urged everyone to continue to guide the craft, stating that she is proud to be a theatre practitioner because they are creators of wisdom.
