Popular Nigerian gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has called on Christians to intercede for Lagos and its environs, stating that it has been strongly impressed on his heart to pray against plans to cause mayhem and destruction of lives and properties.
He made the call in a recent post shared on his Instagram page on Friday.
Bassey urged believers to pray that every strategic plan of multiple attacks be exposed and thwarted, declaring that the Lord disappoints the devices of the crafty and that their hands will not perform their enterprise.
He also called for mercy over Lagos and its environs, noting that he is already praying and inviting others to join if it bears witness with them. He declared that Lagos is blessed and Nigeria is blessed.
He wrote:
"Shalom Saints, this season, it is impressed strongly on my heart to kindly call for intercession for Lagos and environs. Let's pray that plans to cause mayhem and destruction of lives and properties be exposed in Jesus' name. Every strategic plan of multiple attacks be exposed and thwarted. For the Lord disappoints the devices of the crafty. Declare that their hands will not perform their enterprise. Also cry out for MERCY for Lagos and environs. We are praying already. So please join us if this bears witness with you. Shalom. Lagos is blessed. Nigerian is blessed."
