Controversial reality star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has emerged victorious over actress Nkechi Blessing in a historic female celebrity boxing bout organised by Balmoral Group.
The fight, which marked the first female celebrity boxing match staged by the group, saw Phyna secure a decisive knockout victory in the fourth round.
Following her win, Phyna expressed her ambition to pursue professional boxing and immediately called out Etinosa for another fight. Etinosa accepted the challenge, writing, "Challenge Accepted @balmoralpromotions @eazy_adamu @latashalagos."
Phyna's victory saw her receive the sum of N50 million, in addition to an electric vehicle.
The inaugural female celebrity boxing match was organised by Balmoral Group and followed the growing trend of celebrity boxing matches in Nigeria, with Portable, Speed Darlington, Carter Efe, and Charles Okocha having spearheaded the move in recent times.
The recent bout between the two entertainers began in September following Nkechi Blessing's criticism of Phyna for her constant online clashes, advising her to relax and respect herself. Phyna fired back, sharing screenshots of a private chat and accusing Nkechi of chasing clout with her name.
