I Didn't Know Ogogo Was Battling Health Challenges – Peter Fatomilola

Veteran actor Peter Fatomilola has revealed that he was unaware of the health struggles of his colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, until the public outcry of his daughters.

Speaking during an interview with African A-List, Fatomilola described Ogogo as a son to him within the industry, stating that he would have sought the counsel of those more knowledgeable if he had been aware of the actor's condition.

He noted that whatever troubles a person, if kept hidden, can escalate beyond control by the time it becomes public. He advised that people should seek guidance from those with better knowledge whenever they learn that someone is facing a challenge.

Reflecting on his own life, the Yoruba actor shared that out of all the things he wishes to accomplish, only one remains, which God has not yet approved. He recounted how he and his most senior wife, Adawole, set out to build a house, which he built up to the lintel level before she passed away.

"Taiwo Hassan, In the industry, he is like a son to me. Personally, I can't say I heard that he had challenges. Until recently, when his child spoke out and made things public. Whatever is troubling a person, if it is kept under wraps, by the time it escalates beyond control…"

"If we hear that something like this is happening to a person, which I am not aware of, I will inform those who are wiser or more knowledgeable than me."

"Out of all the things I have been pursuing in life that I wish to accomplish, only one thing is left, which my Lord God has not yet approved."
