Peter Fatomilola Opens Up On Mr Macaroni's Benevolence On Set

Veteran Yoruba actor Peter Fatomilola has opened up on the benevolence of skit maker and actor Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, following the movie they worked on together.

He disclosed this in an interview with African A-List, revealing that the payment came despite the fact that no fee had been negotiated before he took part in the production.

Fatomilola recalled a previous experience at a Fiditi location in Oyo, where he finished quickly after just two scenes. He said Mr Macaroni escorted him to his car and offered him money for fuel, which was not less than N200,000, even though the person he came to work for paid him only N50,000.

He noted that Mr Macaroni later contacted him to come to Lekki for another job, and when he arrived, he was waiting to be called on set, not knowing he had been invited for just one role.

He said he found himself acting alongside Pete Edochie, and after they finished, Mr Macaroni told him he had satisfied him. He then called Fatomilola's son and gave him N100,000, and also gave his grandchild N50,000.

Fatomilola said it was at that point that he became suspicious that he would be given money. He revealed that he had Mr Macaroni had not negotiated a fee, prior to gifting his son and grandchild money.

According to him, he only discovered the amount Mr Macaroni had sent after they left the location, and upon asking how much it was, he was told it was N1 million.

"Help me greet Mr Macaroni, Debo Macaroni, Daddy Wa. Since I started working in the industry, for example in Oyo, at a Fiditi location, I finished quickly."

"It was just two scenes. He escorted me to the car and said, 'Let me give you money for fuel.' The money wasn't less than ₦200,000. The person I came to work for paid me ₦50,000."

"He contacted me and said, 'I'll be expecting you in Lekki tomorrow for a job.' So I had to go. When we got there, I was waiting for them to give me a role, to call me on set, not knowing I was only called to play one role."

"What I saw was Peter to Peter — Pete Edochie and Peter Fatomilola. We both did the film, and he said we were done. He said I had satisfied him. I said okay."

"Then he called my son and gave him ₦100,000. My grandchild, the other person's child, he gave him ₦50,000. That was when I became suspicious that I'd be given money. That I'd be given money."
