"My Little Act Of Obedience Has Become An Inspiration" – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Celebrates Latest Recognition 

Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed gratitude after receiving recognition for her philanthropic efforts.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the movie star reflected on her decision to donate her entire producer's earnings from her cinema movie, 'Mother's Love', to the education of children from underserved communities.

She noted that Makoko area of Lagos, was one of the backgrounds of the movie, and she had no idea how much her action would resonate with people. She described the gesture as a little act of obedience that has continued to inspire even her.

She expressed honour at receiving both a Social Impact Award and a Lifetime Social Impact recognition from the Israel Tribune and 90210 Enterprise, describing it as a joint first recognition by both organisations.

Expressing gratitude, the actress who recently celebrated her 30th year in the movie industry, thanked them and expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to do what she loves and give back through it.

She wrote:
"When I decided to Donate our Entire producer's earnings from 'MothersLovetheMovie', to the education of children from underserved communities such as Makoko which was one of the backgrounds of our movie, Little did I know how Many it would resonate with, Touch or were watching! Our little Act of Obedience has continued to be an inspiration even to me."

Recall that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde disclosed in August 2026 that she would be donating her production company's entire producer earnings of N22,276,558 from her cinema movie 'Mother's Love' to charity.

She revealed that the film grossed N103,094,663 during its cinema run, and after all statutory deductions and expenses, the final amount that went to her production company, RedHot Concepts, was N22,276,558.

The movie star also disclosed that the full percentage of the proceeds was given to the NGO Slum2School Africa to support education for children in underserved communities, fulfilling a pledge she made during her 30th year in the film industry.
