Singer Reminisce Set To Feature In Toyin Abraham's 'Bestie'

Nigerian singer and rapper Remilekun Abdulkalid, popularly known as Reminisce, is set to feature in Toyin Abraham's upcoming cinema movie, 'Bestie'.

The 'Ponmile' crooner will play the character of Kazeem, also known as Alaga Big Star, in the film.

Toyin Abraham made the announcement on her Instagram page on Monday, describing Reminisce as the "GOAT of all GOATS." She revealed that he is one of the lead cast members and praised his energy, talent, and performance on set.

She urged fans to anticipate the movie's release in cinemas on December 16.

She wrote:
"GOAT of all GOATS! Reminisce is Kazeem, aka Alaga Big Star, in BESTIE! One of the lead cast, and our GOAT came, saw, and brought the house down! The energy, the madness, the talent! This one is on another level! BESTIE in cinemas from 16th December!"

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toyin Abraham announced that her upcoming project 'Bestie' is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16, 2026.

In the anticipation video shared on her Instagram page on Friday September 4, she showcased her previous theatrical releases, including 'Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper', 'Malaika', 'Alakada: Bad and Boujee', and 'Oversabi Aunty', before announcing the latest title.

On Monday, September 14, Abraham began the official unveiling of the cast for 'Bestie'.

The latest unveiling of Reminisce adds to a strong cast list including Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi, Sola Sobowale as Mama Ngozi, Imisi as Suzy Baby, Maurice Sam as Peter, Yakubu Mohammed as Hassan in the film, and Lizzy Jay as Kazeem, building anticipation ahead of its release.
