"I Stopped Acting To Focus On My Family" – Mosun Filani

Nollywood actress Mosun Filani has opened up about her decision to take a break from acting, explaining that she stepped away to focus on her family.

In a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, she shared that her children are now grown and independent, which is why she feels it is time to return to the screen.

The Yoruba actress also addressed a misconception about her marriage, clarifying that she is not a second wife. She explained that while her husband may have had a marriage before, she did not meet anyone in his house when they got together.

She said:
"I'm not a second wife; my husband might've had a marriage before, but I didn't meet anyone in his house."

"I stopped acting to focus on my family. My kids are grown; they know left from right, and it's time for me to get back to acting."
