Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan has shared his thoughts on the importance of unity in diversity and electing the right leaders.
In a recent Instagram post, he suggested that Nigeria needs a disaster movie, one where terrorists, aliens, a virus, or some other threat attacks the entire country and forces everyone to work together regardless of tribe or religion in order to survive.
Akinmolayan noted that such a film would serve as a powerful metaphor for what could happen if Nigerians do not act right and choose right.
He further referenced international titles like 'War of the Worlds', 'Civil War', and 'Resident Evil' as examples of the genre.
The renowned filmmaker, while painting a vivid picture of what the film could look like, described hundreds of thousands of people running for their lives as the Third Mainland Bridge collapses, adding that it would also be fun to make.
He wrote:
