Nigerian singer Oluwatobiliba Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed the reason behind his recent break from music, disclosing that he lost his mother this year.
The 'Buga' hitmaker made the disclosure on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), on Friday while responding to a fan.
The fan, @VicroyDominion1, had written, "I guess album really made you busy you had to pause for a while."
Kizz Daniel responded, "I paused for my Mom not an album … Lost her this year, but I gotta keep moving for the rest of the family … sorry I came late this year."
The singer's revelation drew an outpouring of condolence messages from his fans and netizens, who sympathised with him over his loss.
