Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared a heartfelt message of encouragement to new mothers, reflecting on the changes she has experienced since welcoming her son.
In a post shared on her Instagram page alongside photos of herself and her baby, she opened up about her journey over the past few months.
The movie star acknowledged that so much has changed in her life, and she is still finding her way through it all. She encouraged new mums who may not recognise themselves yet to be patient, noting that their bodies have done something incredible.
She also advised them to give themselves grace and time, and reassured them that they will find their way back to themselves, perhaps discovering a new version along the way.
Additionally, Ini Dima-Okojie asked for remedies for Tenosynovitis, a condition commonly known as mum wrist, which she said has been causing her pain.
She wrote:
"Life lately. A little glimpse of the last few months. So much has changed, and I'm still finding my way through it all. To the new mums who may not quite recognise themselves yet, be patient with yourself. You may not look or feel exactly the way you did before, and that's okay. Your body has done something incredible. Give yourself grace and time. Slowly but surely, you'll find your way back to yourself. And maybe, you'll discover a new version of you along the way. PS: Pls, who has a remedy for Tenosynovitis (mum wrist)? I've been in so much pain."
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Ini Dima-Okojie and her husband, Dr. Abasi Ene-Obong, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in June.
The actress made the announcement alongside her 36th birthday celebration.
