Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has taken a trip down memory lane, reflecting on her acting career and the lessons she has learned along the way.
In a recent interview, she opened up about her early days in the industry and how she navigated challenges as a newcomer.
Sindodo recalled a particularly difficult moment on set when she struggled to deliver a scene, prompting doubts from some colleagues who questioned why a newbie was given such a role.
She credited her late boss, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, for encouraging her to relax and pray about it, which helped her return and nail the performance.
She also addressed the viral video suggesting a rift with Faithia Williams, clarifying that there is no issue between them and that the clip was incomplete.
She said:
"Myself and Aunty Faithia are in good spirits. She's my sister and we are very close. I was surprised to see that video and the narration going around the internet. In fact, we sat down together at the event and even danced together."
"The clip making rounds wasn't complete because she was dancing and maybe mistakenly hit my head tie, which I looked up to see who it was and I realised she was the one, so I moved on. There's no issues between us."
"When I started acting the character on set, I didn't get it right. So, some people on the set started saying all sorts of things, like why would the producer insist on giving me such a scene as a newbie. But my boss, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, encouraged me and I went to relax and then prayed. By the time I returned to the set, I played the character perfectly."
