Nigerian lawyer Stan Alieke has advised the public to remove themselves from any situation where they lack a human witness, warning that such circumstances can be dangerous.
In a post shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday, he stressed that people have been wrongly punished or killed for crimes they did not commit simply because no one was there to defend them.
The Abuja-based lawyer further emphasised that while God is always present, He will not physically intervene to protect anyone, no matter how much they pray.
He urged individuals to leave any location where they find themselves alone with no human witness to back up their defence.
He wrote:
"May you never be in a situation where only God is your witness. People have been killed or punished for what they didn't do because there is no human witness to back up their defense other than God. If you are in any compromising situation where it is just you and God, leave that location because unfortunately, God will not come down to defend you no matter how much you pray or call on God."
