Funke Akindele Extends 'The Four' Promotion with Acts Of Kindness To Market Communities

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has unveiled an inspiring promotional strategy for her upcoming movie, 'The Four: No One Fights Alone', by combining film marketing with community outreach.

In a heartwarming video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the box office queen and her team visited market communities to distribute umbrellas during the rainy season, spreading cheer and appreciation among residents.

Akindele explained that the outreach, now in its third year, began as a way to show gratitude to market communities and has since become an annual tradition.

She noted that the initiative aligns with the themes of friendship, love, and community celebrated in her film.

She wrote:

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the award-winning filmmaker announced the project on August 10, 2026, with a captivating promotional campaign titled "Blockbuster Relay 2026."

'The Four' is set to hit cinemas globally on December 11, 2026, featuring a star-studded cast including Waje, Chioma Akpotha, Bisola Aiyeola, Lateef Adedimeji, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Uzor Arukwe, amongst others.
