Kunle Afod Announces Tope Osoba's Burial Date After Autopsy Completion

Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has announced that the burial of late actress Temitope Osoba will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Iperu, Ogun State.

The Yoruba actor made this known on his Instagram page, disclosing that the autopsy on the actress has been completed, and her body will leave Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital on Thursday morning for the final burial rites.

He wrote:

The autopsy on our dear Tope Osoba has been completed. We wish to inform everyone that Tope will be laid to rest on Thursday, 10th September 2026, in Iperu, Ogun State. The body will leave Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) on Thursday morning for Iperu, where the final burial rites will take place. May God grant the family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones the strength to bear this great loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace."

The Nigerian Voice reported on Monday, September 7, that Osoba's family had earlier announced the burial date, with the service scheduled to hold at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market, beginning at 10:00 am, followed by interment at Iperu Remo Cemetery.

The family had initially postponed the burial, which was scheduled for August 13, to allow for further arrangements following the candlelight and artiste night held in her honour.
