Mr Latin Thanks Senator Yayi For Supporting 'Ogogo' During Illness

Nollywood veteran actor Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has expressed gratitude to Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, better known as Senator Yayi for his unwavering support towards late actor Taiwo Hassan 'Ogogo' during his illness.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the global president of TAMPAN, acknowledged the senator's selflessness and compassion, noting that he was always ready to spend whatever was necessary to keep Ogogo alive.

Mr Latin prayed that God would bless, replenish, and reward the senator for his good heart.

He wrote:
"THANK YOU SIR DISTINGUISHED SENETOR: A Special Thank You to @sen_adeolayayi. Words cannot fully express our gratitude to @sen_adeolayayi for the love and support you showed Ogogo during his illness. You were always ready to spend whatever was necessary and do everything within your power to keep him alive. Your selflessness, compassion and unwavering support will never be forgotten. Thank you for standing by Ogogo until the very end. May God Almighty richly bless you, replenish you and reward your good heart. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER."

Refreshing your memory, The Nigerian Voice recalls that Ogogo's daughters, Lima and Kira Taiwo, had made an emotional appeal on Instagram last Monday, seeking help for their father's treatment after he was diagnosed with stage-four cancer.

They had revealed that hospitals had refused to treat him and begged for anyone who could provide medical or spiritual assistance. His close friend and colleague,

Yinka Quadri, had also been deeply affected by his illness, staying in constant contact with the family and offering support.

'Ogogo' passed away on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the age of 66, according to a statement issued by his colleague, Jide Kosoko. He was buried on Monday in his hometown of Ilaro, Ogun State, following Islamic rites.

His death has since sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with colleagues and fans paying tribute to the veteran actor.
