Nigerian singer and Mavin singer Alexander Adelabu, popularly known as Magixx, is grieving the loss of his mother, Esther.
In an emotional tweet on his X handle (formerly Twitter), the 'Love Don't Cost a Dime' crooner expressed deep sorrow, describing the pain as unlike anything he has ever experienced.
Magixx reflected on his mother's strength, kindness, and free spirit, noting how she fought for her family and friends even while battling illness. He described her as his guardian, twin, and everything, and expressed pride in being her son.
He wrote:
"I have never felt pain like this, Never been this lost. still processing that this is real, can't believe this will happen to you Mom. I watched you fight so hard for your family, friend and strangers, especially these last 6 years, with a smile on your face, full of life, even in sickness! the strength of your heart!"
"Nobody comes in contact with you and not fall in love with your free spirit, wittiness and kindness .. I always tell my friends that 'if my mom got an issue with you, you're the problem' and you somehow proved me right every time. Your heart!"
"I have a billion things to say but words fail me.. Esther! You are my reason, my why, my guardian, my twin, my everything.. Super proud that you are the one who birthed me, and I'll choose you again and again in every life time, every cycle.. wish i can tell you how much I love you one more time, to your face.. Esther! I am going to miss you so much! nobody can take your place. This isn't goodbye, it is goodnight.. as we will surely meet again in the morning my queen, I love you to infinity and a billion lifetimes, Thank you Esther…"
