Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to host a press conference on Wednesday to discuss security, INEC preparations, and other issues surrounding the Osun State governorship election.
The event is scheduled for 11am at Imole House, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.
The 'Feel' crooner confirmed the briefing via his X (formerly Twitter), on Wednesday. He explained that his intention is to speak on transparency and electoral concerns.
Davido, recently appointed Chairman of the Imole Youth Mobilisation Committee for Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election campaign, is expected to address key issues ahead of Saturday's poll.
Governor Adeleke of the Accord Party is seeking a second term in the August 15 election. The singer has been actively involved in the campaign, leading youth mobilisation and participating in political activities across the state.
He wrote:
"I will be having a press conference tomorrow at Imole House, Osogbo, to discuss security, INEC and transparency issues."
