Ibrahim described his wife as the brightest part of his life during his darkest year. He praised her growth, maturity, intentionality, and her ability to curate her happiness. He also acknowledged her decision to step back from her career to focus on motherhood and her patience in trusting God for the right season.
He expressed pride in her plans, her self-awareness, and her intentional approach to life. Heaping praises on her, he called her the best thing that has ever happened to him and wished her a happy birthday.
He wrote:
"Happy Birthday, Sunshine.
Your Birthdays excite me more than they do you because I believe God put you on this earth, knowing how much I would need you.
I call you sunshine because you were literally the brightest part of my life during the darkest year of my existence.
I am proud of you.
The you I met, the you I've watched grow and mature and learn and unlearn. The you I've seen choose to hold her peace and intentionally curate her happiness.
I am proud of you.
The you who took a step back in her career because you brought Keon into this world. The you who took your time until you were ready to re-emerge. The you who trusted god enough to be patient for the accolades. The you we are all excited for this new season.
I am proud of you
The you whose plans are super exciting.
The you who knows who she is, where she's going, and how she plans to get there.
The you who is intentional about her inner circle and how she plans on getting everyone involved so the journey will be more fun.
Above all, I am proud of you for keeping your inner child alive and well. She is awesome.
Happy Birthday to the very best thing that's ever happened to me.
I love you."
